A very pretty silver plate creamer, or small pitcher, made by Gorham. It is a solid small pitcher and in lovely condition. It has a pretty curved handle with thumb rest, a pedestal base and fluted/rope detail around the bottom and top edge. The finish is lustrous with minor wear and some small residual tarnish. It's quite charming, has a nice weight and shows beautifully. There is an anchor and bell hallmark on the underside which reads "Newport - Gorham - Silverplate"
Nice to use as a pop of shine on a bookcase, for a small bouquet or as intended - for milk or cream when setting a pretty table.
Measurements: 5 inches tall 4 1/2 inches wide 2 3/4 inches across bottom base The pitcher's dimensions are 5 H x 4 1/2 W x 3 1/8 D inches.
