Very charming antique Victorian era oval tilt mirror. The beveled mirror is surrounded by a dark solid wood (probably mahogany) with pretty, graceful detail and a lustrous finish. The mirror sits on a serplentine front base with three removable drawers. Sweet little drawers with metal knobs would be perfect for treasures, jewelry or secrets. The back and the bottom of each drawer are engraved with the numbers "16639"
The mirror has a nice wide bevel and tilts back and forth and is in very good condition. The original backing board is tight as are all the joints. The wood frame and side pieces work as they should and are in nice condition but show some minor wear. It shows very nicely however and is quite a lovely piece. It would be a beautiful addition to an antique or vintage style home.
