Lovely vintage pair of gold ornately carved wooden wall sconces/shelves made by Syroco Wood. They are intricately carved and are a muted shade of gold. Each has a groove in the shelf portion to display a pretty plate or special treasure.
There are some signs of wear as might be expected of vintage items, but overall, they are in good, sturdy, vintage condition. One shelf still has the original label which reads "Syroco Wood - Syracuse, NY - Made in USA". Each shelf has two holes for hanging.
Perfect for a small wall or on either side of a mantle or buffet - in a vintage bedroom or powder room would be lovely as well.
