Unique vintage toast rack with what seems to be the addition of a condiment holder in the middle. We think the middle portion "may" have held small jars of jelly and possibly salt and pepper shakers. There are small holders on either side of the pretty heart-shaped handle that might have held small spoons.
It holds four slices of toast but could also be used for letters, cards or photographs or even cocktail napkins. It's quite a charming piece.
It’s in very nice vintage condition with everything securely attached. There is some wear and possibly it could be polished but we have left it as found. We cannot say for certain what type of metal it is.
The approximate measurements are as follows: Height to top of handle 8 1/4 inches Length 8 inches Width 4 3/4 inches at widest portion in the middle
