Very pretty vintage oil on board seascape of crashing waves on rocks. It’s an intriguing painting with greens and blues and some pale yellow sky on grey rocks. Very suitable for any décor as the sea is always a lovely thing to look at. We are not art experts and our descriptions are only an observance. We buy what we might like to hang in our own homes in the hope our customers will like it too. It is signed “David” in the lower right. The frame is solid wood in a soft gold with beading on the inner edge and ornate detail and pretty carved corners. Beautiful painting for a beach house, vacation home or even a beach restaurant.
The painting has no tears or cracks and the frame is also in good condition with two corners having a slight separation and some minor knicks in the wood. It’s a nice size to not only hang but prop on a shelf or display on an easel. There is a triangle ring hanger on the back for hanging.
