Vintage sea captain bookends. Old Salt fishermen in yellow raincoats and hat, each smoking a pipe. They sit on a brown background meant to look like wood but we believe they are made of plaster. There is felt on the bottoms to prevent scratching and each has the original sticker reading "Made in Japan". They are in very nice vintage condition with the expected minor wear of vintage items. The insides "may" have small bits of plaster roaming around as there is "something" inside each bookend when you tip them upside down.
Great for a bookshelf or a vintage office or anywhere a nautical theme is desired. Nice as a Fathers Day gift or gift for any boater.
