Very unique vintage ormolu filigree cherub base with 4 glass dishes. Traditionally called a “Bride’s Basket”. It has stunning gold filigree on the sides of the handle, a square holder for the dishes and four cherubs holding up the glass dishes – each cherub sits inside a gold filigree flower. There are 4 square, diamond point, ruffled edge crystal dishes that sit on top of the four cherubs. The dishes along with the basket are in perfect condition with no chips or cracks.
It’s a stunning piece with so much lovely detail and it could be used as part of a beautiful table setting for candy, condiments, use at a vintage wedding or to hold treasures on a dresser – a very versatile piece.
