Lovely white vintage alabaster owl hand carved in Italy. Owls are known to represent wisdom and knowledge and are a nice item to have in home decor. This pretty piece was made by A. Santini, a well-known Italian workshop that produces quality alabaster figures. This charming piece has all over, beautiful detail. The original label is on the bottom base and reads " Sculptor - A. Santini - Classic Figure - Made in Italy".
The owl is in very good condition except for one very tiny chip at the tip of one ear. He still shows beautifully however and would be nice on a stack of books, a mantel, or as shelf decor.
