Vintage small wooden desktop globe – made in Italy. There is wonderful detail and interesting graphics on this antique style globe (old world ships, sea creatures, continents). It is tilted on its axis and sits inside a ring which seems to show time and latitude but we can’t be sure as it seems to be written in Italian. The graphics on the globe and ring have faded a bit and there is some wear, but its still quite charming.
The stand is sturdy and all the joints are tight and it holds the globe firmly in place but still with the ability to spin the globe. The original label is on the bottom and reads "Made in Italy".
Nice in a living room, office or as shelf décor.
Measurements: Approximately 8 1/2 inches tall Approximately 5 inches wide
*Vintage pieces will show natural signs of wear due to their use and age. They are not perfect but we hope you will enjoy their lovely character.
