Great vintage stoneware pitcher. A rustic and heavy pitcher that has the classic cream color with the signature blue stripes made by the Ransbottom Pottery Company. It's in beautiful condition with no chips, cracks or crazing - there is some minimal wear near the top rim but it still shows nicely. The glaze has a nice lustre, both inside and out. It holds 4 cups of water and does not leak.
These classic pitchers are so versatile and can be used for greens, wooden spoons, a rolled up dish towel or just display with other crocks and pitchers. The blue and cream is always stunning. The bottom is marked "R. R. P. Co. - Roseville, Ohio U.S.A #303H." The company is no longer in operation making their pottery very collectible.
