Lovely lidded vintage box featuring a sporting dog on the lid. Carved detail all around and a raised relief dog on the lid makes this an attractive display piece. It would look lovely on a coffee table, in a vintage office, as shelf decor or anywhere dog decor might be desired. It could hold a pack of playing cards, office necessities or special treasures.
The box is in excellent condition with no detectable chips or cracks. The lid removes easily and there is velvet on the bottom to prevent tabletop damage. We believe it's some type of wood composite or a heavy resin.
