Vintage Owl Bookends - price is for the pair. Nicely carved with wonderful detail in the feathers and face. Each owl is sitting on a log which is on a base. They are in good condition and feature aluminum bases which slip under a book stack to hold it upright. The bases have black felt material on the bottom to protect surfaces.
One of the owls has the remains of a label - the readable portion says "USA Wood - cuse NY" This leads us to believe they are a wood composite made by Syroco - a company from Syracuse NY.
Nice in an office, a library or if you face them frontwards, they could be used as decor pieces.
Measurements: 7 inches tall 4 1/2 inches wide 4 inches front to back including aluminum base
