Lovely French vintage Limoges dresser/vanity keepsake box in white with gold trim. The top lifts off and has a beautiful hand painted classic courting scene of a man serenading a woman who is dressed in period attire. Some parts of the painting are in raised relief. This very pretty box is in pristine condition with soft colors of pinks, blue and creams and a scrolled gold garland design surrounding the lid and bottom. There are no chips, cracks or repairs and the interior is very clean. This lovely piece almost looks as though it was never used. The bottom is hallmarked “Porcelain d’Art, Limoges France, RP, Limoges France”
