Beautiful set of four vintage HAND BLOWN fishing floats in a deep smoky purple. Some may not say they are purple as they look different in different lighting, but overall, they are quite unique. Most floats are blue or green so these four are unusual and very pretty.
Fishermen used these to keep their nets afloat but due to wear and tear of the nets, many floats escaped and drifted thousands of miles before finding their way to shore.
They are all the same size and each has a pontil mark and some small bubbles showing they were handblown.
They are very collectible and make lovely décor statements. Place them in a bowl as a centerpiece or fill a bowl with greens and add the floats. Very nice in any type home.
They are in very good condition with no chips or cracks but a few small rough spots here and there.
