Beautiful vintage solid brass box. It is an oval shape with a scalloped and hinged lid. The body is also scalloped, making this a very pretty piece. It's a solid, well made box with a good weight - very charming and in good condition with a warm patina and no detectable cracks or dings. The lid operates well and sits flat, however it does not stay open on its own.
Lovely as decorative storage or atop a stack of books. Place something special in it and use it as a unique gift box.
