A lovely pair of vintage prints with a gilt oval surrounded by rectangle walnut frames with gold beading. The prints are behind glass, hand colored and show two riding techniques - Passage and Trot. One print features a male in period dress on a black horse with a quaint village in the background. The other features a female in a dark period dress and hat on a brown horse with a countryside scene in the background. They are lovely and quite unique. Possibly from England.
Each piece is in good vintage condition. There is slight staining on the print of the female which we have tried to capture in the photos. The glass has some minor streaking. The paper backings are two different colors and torn in spots but it does not affect the way they present from the front. The hangers have been cobbled together by someone in the past but can still be used for hanging.
