Lovely vintage set of Viners fruit/cheese knives in original leather box. This is a set of six knives with faux mother-of-pearl handles and stainless steel blades. “Viners of Sheffield - Stainless Steel” is embossed on each blade. The blades are serrated. There is some wear to the outer box, particularly on the underside. The brass latch is well attached on the top portion but the bottom piece is no longer attached. We will include it if you should want to try to fix it. The lid and bottom portion of the leather box are lined with satin which is still in very good condition. The lid has a blue ribbon across the corner stating "By Appointment to the Late King George V. Cutlers & Silversmiths - Viners Ltd. - Viners of Sheffield England". The handles and blades are in lovely, clean condition with virtually no wear.
Unique and lovely to use on a charcuterie board, for a special dessert or on a cheese and fruit platter.
