Large vintage bust of Michelangelo’s David. Sitting on a round pedestal, he’s so handsome and a beautiful statement piece which is heavy and substantial. He’s a lovely dark color and in nice condition with some minor signs of wear in the form of barely detectable chips as might be fitting any vintage piece. He is most likely made of plaster or resin and has felt on the bottom to prevent scratching.
He is marked “David” on a small rectangle under his chest and under his shoulder reads “Austin Prod – 1966”.
It’s a lovely accent piece and a classic piece of art to display on a shelf, in a vintage office, a mantle or anywhere in your home.
