Very unique tall, slender and graceful antique brass pitcher - it appears to be handmade as it has an unusual seam and trimmings. The body and handle are brass with the upper rim trimmed in copper. The handle is sturdy and well attached with copper rivets. It has a hammered finish with nice patina and typical markings of vintage brass. It DOES hold water but only if you fill it to just under the bottom of the handle as it leaks at that point.
It would be very nice as a stand alone piece, as a centerpiece, mantel decor or use it for a small bunch of florals. Nice with woods and whites to add a pop of shine or add to a brass collection. Lovely in a farmhouse or French country kitchen. There is a hallmark embossed on the bottom but it is not readable.
