Beautiful vintage solid brass box. It is an oval shape with a scalloped and hinged lid. The lid has a pretty finial for ease in opening. The body is also scalloped and has beautiful raised etchings. Each scallop has two etchings of an oval picture frame with bow and stemmed roses inside the oval frames. It's very charming and in excellent condition with no detectable cracks or dings. The lid operates well and sits flat.
Lovely as decorative storage or atop a stack of books. Place something special in it and use it as a unique gift box.
Measurements: 4 1/2 inches tall without the finial 5 1/4 inches wide across the top of the lid 4 1/4 inches deep
