Nice pair of vintage brass pineapple bookends from Virginia Metalcrafters in their Newport style. Bright brass finish with felt pads and liner on bottom of each. The pineapple is a traditional sign of welcome and these would be lovely in a traditional home or office setting.
The bookends are in excellent condition and very sturdy. Beautiful as bookends but they could also be separated and used as doorstops, shelf display or statement décor pieces. They are stamped on the back with the Virginia Metalcrafters hallmark and say "Newport".
Each bookend is about 6.5 inches tall x 4 inches at widest with a 3 inch wide x 2 1/2 inch tongue.
*These are vintage pieces and are therefore not perfect. Any imperfections are what make them quite charming.
