A unique large vintage elephant bookend. Elephants are symbolic of wisdom, strength and good fortune. This is a single bookend but would be lovely against one end of a book stack on a shelf. Nice not only as a bookend but because it has lovely detail, it could also stand alone as a décor piece. He is a large cast metal elephant with brass color highlights. He sits on a stand with his trunk raised and both tusks intact. We do not believe he is made of brass.
It's in excellent, sturdy condition with a good weight. Nice on open shelving, in a library, on a desk or as tabletop decor.
