Charming and RARE heart-shape vintage wrought iron birdcage. It's a muted green color and lovely for décor purposes with its pretty shape. The cage has a shelf inside allowing the addition of small plants, nests, faux birds or any treasure you might want to display. There is a sweet door with a heart on it that slides up to open and curlicue detail below it. There are two metal plates on the sides that cover rectangle holes. We cannot say what the purpose of these plates are. We are including a black curved wrought iron hanger to hang the cage with.
This is a sturdy, well built cage with all parts well attached. It's in very nice condition with minor signs of rust and wear. Lovely on a porch, deck, sunroom or in a vintage garden. *Not to be used for a live bird - this is for decor purposes only.
