Very heavy antique brass and or bronze door knocker has a nicely detailed lion head face and mane. The knocker portion is also ornately crafted and features a man’s face on the bottom portion. It’s quite unique. It’s VERY heavy and we therefore assume there is bronze as part of its makeup. It’s in very good condition with the knocker well attached. It appears that it would be hung from the back side of the door with two screws (not included).
It would be a lovely and impressive entrance piece on the door of any style home.
