Lovely antique Coalport England scenic cobalt blue and gold porcelain plate is decorated with a generous amount of gold in an intricate, ornate pattern framing a center image. We assume the image is Loch Katrine as those words have been hand painted on the back. Beautiful, soft pastels depict a boat on a lake surrounded by mountains, trees and greenery.
This gorgeous scenic plate is a must have for every Coalport collector. The plate is in excellent antique condition, with no noticeable imperfections, crazing or signs of repair. The coloring is also very well-preserved.
The backstamp features a crown and reads “England – Coalport – A.D. 1750”. The numbers X2289 are stamped in gold on one side. Signed by artist "E O Ball"
