Charming antique bird cage with dome top and square bottom. It is black wrought iron in a wire construction - many of which are double twisted wires. There is a hinged door on the front held closed with a looped-top pin. There are twisted wire decorative designs on the dome top along with a seed dish on the inside. It can hang up with an attached S hook. It is well made with all its original parts and everything is well attached and sturdy - there is a small amount of rust here and there, but it does not compromise the look and sturdiness of this unique and lovely piece.
Beautiful to hang or use as mantle or tabletop décor. Could hold a small plant, candles, a nest or special treasure inside. **Using it for a live pet would be at the owners discretion.
