This vintage solid brass elephant counter bell was likely used as a service bell for a business or a hotel’s front desk. Unique bell would look lovely on your desk, library, or on the front counter of a shop. He has nice detailing on his body and carries a domed bell on his back which has the typical reminiscent ring of a hotel bell. The bell is functional and the brass has vintage patina. We have left it as found but it could probably be polished if one wished.
The elephant and bell are both in sturdy condition with no signs of any loose parts. Its only flaw seems to be the little stem on the portion that rings the bell seems ever so slightly crooked.
