Very nice vintage copper cooking pot or kettle - traditionally used to cook directly over an open fire. Solid copper hanging kettle with a wrought iron handle held onto the pot with copper rivets. The handle is sturdy and held on firmly by the brackets. The bottom sits flat with no wobble. The seams are primitive and filled with brass and there are finger joints around the bottom - probably a handmade piece. It is not as heavy as some copper pieces we have come across, but its charming just the same. It has wear and a few dents but overall, it's quite lovely.
Lovely to use as a pop of shine and warmth. Could also be used as a planter, for small kindling on a hearth or to pour a large candle. Copper is always a beautiful accent for your home.
