RARE vintage solid brass mail holder - Made in Germany. It is a unique decor piece, unlike any we've seen but it's also functional and can be used for letters, paperwork, photos, iPhone or as a very unique napkin holder. It's a heavy, weighted piece, very pretty and could stand alone on a tabletop as décor.
Lovely organizational piece for office, desk or table. It's in good sturdy condition - solid brass with raised relief Roman soldier in profile on each side, garlands and a sunburst design in the bottom. The bottom underside reads "Germany". ( We could not capture it in photos as the letters are very tiny).
As with any vintage item, there is minor wear but it does not compromise the integrity of this charming piece. Two of the side pieces curve inward but we believe that must have been intentional as they are both the same.
Measurements: 6 inches wide 4 inches deep
